Real Estate (Real Estate Appraisal) Classes

If you’ve ever played the game of monopoly, you’ve had that great feeling of snatching up Park Place and Broadway at least once or twice, then waiting patiently to build hotels everywhere and put everyone else out of the game. Those of you, who like that feeling, may want to study real estate. Similar to monopoly, real estate professionals are masters of buying and building property all over the world. These professionals know how to make investments work for them, and once you take some real estate classes – you will as well.

If you’re ready to put value on property, real estate is where you need to be. You’ll also be closing deals, which can be very profitable. To get into real estate classes and succeed in real estate, you’ll need to be a persuasive team player who is really good with jumbling numbers. You’ll also need to be good at being aggressive, and sealing the deal when everything is finished. Real estate can be a great career if you like to make decisions and build things.

Among the several real estate classes available, you have international real estate, real estate appraisal, real estate commercial, finance, investments, law, principles and practices, and even residential. While all of them are very interesting and can take you far in your career, you should pick one of the majors as it best relates to your needs and interests. If you’re just looking to sell homes and land, residential real estate is everything you need.

Your career in real estate begins with real estate classes. There are several schools and colleges that teach real estate, all you have to do is find one in your state. The requirements and classes will vary from state to state, which would make it better to inquire ahead of time. Real estate is a career like no other, simply because you can invest in some property then sell it and make double the profit. If you’ve been looking for the perfect career to make a lot of money and challenge yourself – real estate can do it all for you and then some.

Donald Trump’s Real Estate Tycoon Customer Review: Where did the tutorials go?
I played the game through all levels of the tutorials and advanced to ‘one-on-one’ with D. Trump… I did okay. Then I didn’t play the game for while and when I went to play it again and get a refresher from the tutorials they were “GONE”! Now the game will not play at all…… No help from the ‘Website’ either.. That is just an order site only. So I would not buy this again.

Real Estate Appraisal – Houston Office Market

The downtown Houston office market is a hot topic these days. Recent months have seen a flurry of activity, whether it be leases, move-outs, or acquisitions. It’s no secret that the downtown market continues to be plagued by average vacancies painfully close to 20% and stagnant rents. With the thought that things will improve in the near future, investors have been purchasing properties in earnest. The fourth quarter news was encouraging, notably EPCO, Inc.’s acquisition of 1100 Louisiana, a building in which they have subsequently occupied 300,000 square feet. Also, Wells Real Estate Funds paid the highest per-square-foot price in the Houston office market’s history ($286 psf) for 5 Houston Center. Rumor has it that ChevronTexaco is interested in purchasing the remaining vacant former Enron building, while other energy companies have begun to reclaim shadow space downtown.

Unfortunately, the Central Business District’s recovery is anything but a slam dunk. Two major tenants, Burlington Resources and Bank One, are expected to vacate CBD space in 2006 after acquisitions by ConocoPhillips and Chase, respectively. In the same building Burlington is expected to vacate, Calpine Corp. reduced the amount of space they lease and subsequently lost naming rights to the former Calpine Center, now known by its address, 717 Texas.

Questions still remain about when the downtown office market will see a substantial improvement. It did not happen with the recent influx of New Orleans office tenants, as some thought it would. However, strong job growth has many experts predicting a healthy 2006 for the Houston office market overall, and with the positive fourth quarter numbers, it appears the market is moving in the right direction.

Customer Review: Found this dvd to be the best overall for checking my house
This dvd was the best overall choice I made when buying books and dvds to learn about house maintenance, construction and home inspections. It would have been helpful if I purchased this sooner when I was working alongside the builder who built my house.

I wasn’t aware the builders only have to follow the minimum standards with construction. After learning from the dvd I realized there were parts of the construction process that my builder could have improved upon to exceed the minimum standards.

The company that produced the dvd has other books and dvds which have received 5 star ratings from Amazon Top 50 reviewers. That was the basis for my purchase decision since I know that those reviews are always valid and trustworthy.

The dvd comes with a free download guidebook that had additional information and explains what topics are and are not covered on a $20 dvd which made sense to me. For $20 it’s a great deal and wonderful information. If I need more details on any particular topic due to the limits of a dvd length then I have the dvd guidebook and this company’s 400+ page home inspection book which covers everything in great detail. Each dvd in the series discussed different part of the home.

Interior and Exterior home inspection dvd topics include: roof, chimneys, siding, eaves, gutters, drainage and grading, windows, walkways, entrances and porches, driveways, walls and fences, patios and terraces, decks, swimming pools, exterior structures, wood destroying insects, garage, kitchen, bathrooms, floors and stairs, walls and ceilings, windows and doors, fireplaces, attics, ventilation, insulation, basement/lower level, water penetration.
